#1: THE EXORCIST, THE EXORCIST, THE EXORCIST

#1: THE EXORCIST

Something beyond evil is happening in a little girl's room.
Regan has brutally changed both in the way she looks and the way she acts, with violent outbursts on everyone who comes in contact with her.

Her worried mother gets in contact with a priest who comes to the conclusion that Regan is possessed. The top priest who can deal with an exorcism, Father Merrin, is called in to help save Regan from the demon inside her.

The Exorcist is one of the greatest horror films ever made. It scared the nation and still does! I myself can not see it alone, because I know I won't sleep after viewing it.

Thank you all for visiting my top 15 Horror

#02: Paranormal Activity (THE VERY FIRST ONE)

#02: Paranormal Activity

Katie and Micah are experiencing weird things happening around their house, which makes Micah to start filming around the house. The rest is just pure history.

This movie is really well made and it made me jump several times and I was in total shock at the end of the movie, one of the most scariest scene of all time.

I kid you not, when I first saw this movie, I slept for a whole week with

one of my best friends. I could'nt sleep alone at all. This movie really sucks you
in and puts you in the spot where the protagonists are, because everything is being
filmed! Awsome movie and I am proud to say that I own it on DVD!!!

#03: The Last House on the Left

#03: The Last House on the Left

The story goes like this:

The Last House on the Left is about a family on vacation by their lakeside home.

The day they drive out to the lake, their daughter Mari leaves with the family car to meet up with her friend Paige. Mari and Paige eventually hang out with a kid named Justin, until his estranged family of three murderous criminals, led by his father Krug, show up.

They beat and rape the girls (in my opinion, the most horrible part I have ever seen in a movie) and leave them for dead out by the lake.

The three murderers soon find Mari's parents house, and coincidentally to them decide to spend the rainy night there.

Mari survives the attack and swims back home, her parents find her, and also gain the knowledge that her attackers are the their guests.

They have no car, no help, and no way out. All they can do is fight back. From there on in Mari's parents exact bloody revenge on Krug and his family of thugs.

Did I love this movie:

Yes and No.

Ok, the whole idea of revenge after what the criminals did to their daughter, I LOVED and every parent would do that and more. What I didn't like was the whole rape scence , because it looked just to real and it deeply bothered me...

All in all The Last House on the Left is a very good horror movie. I give it a 4 out of 5.

#04: I Know What You Did Last Summer

#04: I Know What You Did Last Summer

When four friends accidentally hit and kill a man on a road at night, they start to panic and decide to dump the body into the sea....
A year later, they all try to settle down again, but one of the friends receives a note in the post, with the words 'I know what you did last summer....

As each of the friends gains their own reminder, they finally accept the one thing they feared the most; someone knows what happened that night, and now the killer is out for revenge.

MY OPINON:

I Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie.

The plot itself was unique, it was based off of Lois Duncan's novel of the same name. The suspense is great, and there is a VERY low gore rating, which works with this movie. The killer is very creepy, and the movie makes you think it's other killers before the real one is figured out. There was a bit of comedy in it too.

It did have it's share of blood and gore, but it was very well done! I highly reccomend this movie! If I had to grade it, I'd give it a A+++++!

Check out this scence of Sarah Michelle Gellar!!!

#05: The Last Exorcism (2010)

#05: The Last Exorcism (2010)

Ok, The Last Exorcism is a simple awsome horror movie and nothing more than that.

It has incredible special and visual effects, and lots and lots of suspense.

It reminded me of "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" movie and I wonder if it is the same plot line of the real possesed girl Annelise Michele ( name is probably misspelled.)
I would definitely recommend this
movie for any horror movie fan and fans of "exorcism" movies.

#06: The Ring

06: The Ring

Ok, in short: a mysterious video tape is killing off anyone who watches it.

Whenever the victim watches it, the phone rings, telling them they have only one week to live.

A young reporter named Rachel is investigating these events, but after she and her small son watch the tape, it becomes a race against time to find out why the tape is killing everyone and how it could be stopped.

My Intake:

For me, the Ring remains to this day one of the weirdest and scariest movies of the early 2000's.

It breathes the word horror.  This is just the kind of horror movie that will leave you feeling creeped out even days after seeing it for the first time.

Disturbing scenes, the creepers music, EVERYTHING!

I highly recommend it!

07: The Amityville Horror (2005)

The Amityville Horror (2005)

Ok, I will be talking about the 2005 version, which is a remake of the
1970's version.  the story goes as follows:

George & Kathy Lutz and Kathy's 3 children are moving into an elegant Long Island home.
What they don't know is that 6 gruesome murders were committed there the year before -
Ronald Defeo Jr, killed his parents, his 2 sisters, and 2 little brothers.
As soon as the Lutzes moved into the house, they begin seeing horrible things

The ghost of Jodie DeFeo, horribly disfigured bodies, and hearing ghostly voices throughout the house.
George seems to notice it the most, and it isn't long before he becomes a danger to those around him. When the local priest, called in to bless the house, he issues a dire warning to Kathy to leave the house. Will the Lutz escape the evil house on time before its too late?

My intake:
This is a awsome horror film! It is full of jumps and scares and the story is great!
I love the whole concept of the story (Even though it is a fake story) and the crazy dillusional ideas that the Lutz fabricated. When I first saw this movie, I remember I couldn't sleep alone for like
2 days.

Enjoy the Trailer

#08 : Texas Chainsaw 3D:

#08 : Texas Chainsaw 3D:

Ok, so the story takes place After the first massacre in 1974. The townspeople suspected that the Sawyer family (Leatherface's family) were responsible. A vigilante mob of enraged locals surrounded the Sawyer house, burning it to the ground and killing every last member of the family.

Decades later a young woman named Heather learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from her grandmother. She decides to bring her friends along on the road trip to invesitgate her inheritance. On arrival she
uncovers she has inherited a mansion but is yet to uncover the terrors that lurk in the basement below it.

So whats my opinion on this film?

*Eddy screams* I HATED IT!!!!!

Ok, I am a  huge Leatherface fan. I had been looking forward to seeing this movie since I saw the trailors. I went when it opened up and well, the ending comes up and I was so unbelievably disappointed.
The movie starts out good, and had some good background information to later understand the present scenes.  Also a HUGE MISTAKE of the movie with the the main character's age (should be at least 40.) Leatherface was turned into this sweet character that you began to feel bad for at the end.

A real scary movie shouldn't make u feel like that...

The thing that disgusted me the most was when the "main character" actually defends Leatherface from the people who want to kill him. I expected Leatherface to DIE at the end. He killed her friends for God's SAKE!!!

Overall, I regret sooo much the money I wasted on this movie. Wish I could turn back time...LOL

#09 : Your Next

#09 : You're Next:

Paul and Aubrey Davison are about to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and they've invited their grown-up children out to the country to share in the celebration. The first to arrive are Crispian and his new girlfriend Erin. It isn't long before the rest of the family has filed in as well, and the party gets under way. Later, at the dinner table,  two of the brothers begin to argue over te past and just as tensions begin to boil up, a crossbow arrow blasts through the glass window and panic sets in.

The family is suddenly under attack! No one is safe as the blood starts to flow, the son in law, then the daughter, then the mother, then the father, and everybody begins to die. Erin is determined to stay alive, and she's got the survival skills to strike back at her attackers with deadly force

I will be honest. I dont like the movie, but I dont hate it either. I love the whole concept to it because it is not your typical horror movie of a man with a knife or an axe that kill a bunch of people who can't act...no..It's diffrent... It has an awsome set.... The masks of the killers were actually pretty creepy... a large cast that portrayed a happy, but troublesome family - The title, while cheesy, is actually quite fun and catchy....

Now, in reguards to the negative things about it: I believe some of the actors in this movie were not even actors at all! They were SOOO HORRIBLE!!! I really disliked that the mother and the father died because of the hands of their stupid son. Reguardless of my review, I would recommend seeing this movie...Not that good, but not bad either.

#10 : Evil Dead

 #10: Evil Dead

This post is about the 2013 version

A trip into the woods turns into a terrifying battle against the forces of evil. Mia is a heroin addict whose most recent overdose was nearly her last. Recognizing that she won't survive another, Mia's longtime friends Olivia and Eric take the troubled girl to her family's old cabin in the woods to quit cold turkey. It isn't their first attempt, but this time they're hoping that with Mia's brother David around;  that Mia will make a full recovery.

David and Eric discover what appears to be the scene of a dark ritual. Scattered amongst the animal corpses and mysterious artifacts is an old book that's been sealed shut with heavy-duty plastic and barbed wire. Intrigued, Eric manages to cut the book free and makes a disturbing discovery -- the book has been bound in human flesh, and it comes with an incantation that will unleash a powerful force of evil.

Eric reads the words aloud, sealing his own dark fate, as well as those of his closest friends. One by one they will be possessed until no soul has been left unclaimed.

I must say I have never seen the original, so I can’t compare.  I really loved this movie because it scared the bleep out of me. I would dare to say that this is probably one of the best horror movies to come out in the last couple of years. The acting wasn't good for the most part, but it is a horror movie, so its forgiven.
There is PLENTY of blood/gore in the movie, and several jump off your seat scenes; an arm being cut off, a hand being ripped off, a hand being blown off, etc. On top of that is, it is deep down spine-chilling. This was a good movie, and better than I expected. I highly recommend it to any horror fan.

#11 : The Curse of Chucky

#11 : The Curse of Chucky (2013):
For this post, I will only be focusing on the very last "Chucky" movie. Later as we get to number 1, I will post my other 2 favorite "Chucky" movies.

Nica, a young woman forced to a wheelchair since birth, has to regroup her sister, Barb and her brother-in-law, Ian for a funeral after the death of her mother.

While dealing with Barb, Ian, along with their 5-year-old daughter, Alice; Nica receives an odd package - a creepy Good Guys doll named Chucky. After Nica's family start showing up dead, the fearless Nica soon suspects that the creepy Good Guys doll is much more than just a doll. Of course we all know it isn't just an ordinary doll; It is Chucky and Chucky means trouble!

I have always been a huge fan of the child's play films except for the last two ones. This film however, brings back the franchise by going back to it's roots and also adding some new twists that makes this film stand out. For a direct to DVD film (which I thought was stupid) it was a very well made film.

It's really hard to make Chucky scary again when so many people are familiar with them but this film does not fail. The kills can be a little over the top but that shouldn't put any horror fan off watching it.
The story is the best thing about this film because it seems to continue from the very first one, which was waaay back in the 80's.

Overall though, this is a truly amazing sequel that deserve a cinema release rather than just a DVD release. It delivers everything that the first film did plus a little more. Oh and it even shows us Andy! Andy, the little boy who starred in the first Child's Play.

ENJOY THE TRAILER!!!
